Drones have become an important part of our daily lives. If we want to capture excellent aerial videos and photos we turn to drones because these machines allow us to achieve our objective at an amazingly low price. When we need a little entertainment we can take part in drone racing or simply fly a drone here and there to quench our thirst of adventure. There are unlimited ways of using a simple quadcopter or an extremely advanced aerial machine that comes equipped with the latest functions such as GPS optical sensors high resolution camera and much more. Drones are attractive aerial machines meant for hobbyists expert pilots and military personnel. Since there are so many different applications of drones these days there are hundreds of different types and models of these machines available out there. Sometimes it becomes difficult to decide which model you should buy without first testing it. To allow people to test fly their favorite drones or use them for a temporary objective drone rentals were introduced to the general public. This is a great service that allows people who cannot afford the expensive models to use them temporarily and then return it to the company that leases them.
FPV Camera: Dont forget to buy a model that comes equipped with a FPV camera and this is clearly mentioned in the specifications when you check out various models of drones. The position of the camera is also important in drone racing because you want to see what lies ahead when your drone is tilted forward. Flight Controller: Just keep in mind that without a good flight controller you are never going to win a drone racing contest. Why? Because such a controller comes with firmware that makes a drone flight smooth and stable. Many novice pilots can easily overlook this feature but this is one tip youre going to receive from every drone racer who has had a good experience in the field.
Use of Propeller Protector Guards - I highly recommend operators make use of propeller guards on their Drone. They are available from most manufacturers or from 3rd party vendors. Most simply snap in place like the guards for the Yuneec Typhoon G while others like the propeller guards for the SYMA series require very small Phillips head screws and screwdriver for attachment. Not only will the guards prevent the Drones propellers from harming guests and crew but they also aid in avoiding the Drone becoming tangled in sailboat standing and running rigging fishing boat outriggers radar arches radio antennas and domes navigation lights and safety rails! Propeller guards are a MUST HAVE accessory!
