Most people use drones for the purpose of taking photos. The drone itself doesnt take photos but it has a built-in camera mounted on it that is responsible for taking the images. The more advanced the camera is the more quality photos it should be able to take. However do remember that HD cameras can be very heavy so you will have to buy a heavier and more advanced drone if you intend to use it for the purpose of aerial photography or videography. Drones are aircraft and can easily be involved in accidents. All it takes is a wrong turn or a slight error of judgment to cause the drone to tumble to the ground. Most lightweight drones fall a lot and thus require replacement parts like rotor blades extra batteries propellers and gears to get back into the air. Thus availability of spare parts is another important consideration that you have to keep in mind when buying small drones.
There are a number of issues that should be considered when selecting a Drone for this environment: DJI and Yuneec make a number of Drones capable of use in this environment. The Splash Drone is waterproof and makes a great Drone for this environment. GoPro and DJI have just introduced small new models that "fold" and fit in small backpacks and are capable of flying for 20+ minutes in 20+ knots of wind! Size - consider how and where you will store your Drone aboard your yacht - on a bunk in a storage locker in the cockpit. The Drone should be stored in a safe location where guests and crew will not drop items on the Drone or knock or kick the Drone.
The battery life on this drone is better than many others at this price point though it still isnt the number one option. You can fly the drone for 10 plus minutes without issue. With an extra battery or two youll be able to fly to your hearts content. One big negative on this model is the camera quality. At only 0.5MPs the quality of any video and photos captured will not be very good. Still the camera can be used for FPV viewing via the app on a phone which is a nice touch. The Kidcia quadcopter has foldable arms making it the most portable drone at this price point. Use it to explore the world and learn how to fly anywhere you go. The best drones under 200 can offer the beginner and intermediate drone pilot a unique experience. These drones are easier to fly than cheaper or more expensive drones because of their simplified but sturdy features. Additionally they have enough durability to let you learn how to fly even if you crash a few times.
